New Patients

ADHD is a very common condition, up to 8-9% of children. As a pediatrician, I recognize how common this condition is, and how much misinformation and stigma around it.  Sometimes going to specialists can be intimidating, scary, and makes the child and family to believe that ADHD is not only serious, but detrimental to the child or teenager life. As a mother, pediatrician, and person with ADHD, I can relate very easily with my ADHD patients in a non-threatening physician-patient relationship. I currently have patients in college that are really comfortable to share other health topics,  goals, events, and college experiences with me during our consultations . Parents are always relieved when they able to ask any type of questions, for more simple that might seems, and share achievements, and new circumstances in each follow up visit.
